Reconnect Google (fix a re-auth prompt)

Google access tokens expire or get revoked from time to time. When that happens, Page Pulse shows a re-auth banner and your traffic data stops updating until you reconnect.

Spot the prompt

A banner appears asking you to reconnect Google. Your existing data stays, but new syncs pause until you act.

Reconnect

  1. Click Reconnect on the banner, or open Project Settings.
  2. Sign in to Google again and approve access.
  3. Page Pulse resumes syncing on the next scheduled run.

Good to know

  • If you keep getting re-auth prompts, make sure the connected Google account still has access to the property and site.
