Crawl-only projects (no Google account)
No Google Search Console or Analytics? A crawl-only project still tracks every page change. It just skips the traffic metrics.
Create one
When you add a project, choose the “No, I don’t have GA/GSC access” path and enter your website URL.
What is different
Because there is no traffic data, crawl-only projects hide anything traffic-based: the traffic stat cards, the Pages/Queries toggle, search-query tables, and metric comparisons. You keep the full change-tracking experience: change markers, the change-detected card, and impact scoring.
Add data later
Connect Google in Project Settings whenever you are ready, and the traffic features light up automatically.
Good to know
- Metric and ranking alerts need Search Console or Analytics, so they are disabled on crawl-only projects. Change-detection alerts still work.
