Your first sync: what to expect
After you create a project, Page Pulse imports your history and starts tracking. Here is what happens, and how long it takes.
What runs first
On creation, Page Pulse queues three things: a screenshot of your site, an import of your Search Console and Analytics history, and the first crawl of your pages.
How long it takes
Historical data usually lands within a few hours, depending on how many pages and how much history you have. The performance chart shows “No data available yet” until the first import finishes.
If data never appears
If it has been more than a few hours and the chart is still empty, the connection may need attention. Check your Google connection in Project Settings, or contact support so the team can investigate.
Good to know
- Change tracking only starts from your first crawl forward, so the earliest changes appear a day or two in.
