Build a before-and-after SEO impact dashboard
Pull page changes, clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, users, and key events into one visual dashboard that shows exactly what you changed — and what happened next.
A change you can't measure is a change you can't repeat.
You rewrite an H1, tighten a meta description, add a few internal links — and then you move on. The win blurs into the next sprint and you never confirm what actually worked.
Because Page Pulse already logs every page-level change with a timestamp, the MCP can line your GSC and GA4 metrics up against the exact day you shipped — and your AI tool turns that into a dashboard in one prompt.
The prompt
Connect the Page Pulse MCP to Claude or ChatGPT, paste this in, and it builds the report from your live data.
Swap in your project name. The MCP returns the comparison metrics automatically — your AI tool just lays them out.
Using the Page Pulse MCP, build a before-and-after SEO impact dashboard for [your project]. 1. List the tracked pages that had a change in the last 30 days with an importance score of 40 or higher. 2. For each one, pull clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, users, and key events for the 30 days before vs. the 30 days after the change date (use the previous-period comparison). 3. Present a table sorted by clicks change — with up/down arrows and % deltas — then a short written summary of the three biggest movers and exactly what changed on each.
How to run it
Four steps, about two minutes. Connect once and you can re-run it any time.
Connect the Page Pulse MCP
In Claude or ChatGPT, add the Page Pulse MCP and authenticate. Ask it to “list my projects” to confirm it can see your sites.
Find what changed
Ask for pages with changes in your window. The MCP returns the field that changed — H1, title, meta, internal links, schema — with the date and an importance score.
Pull before/after metrics
For each changed page, the MCP fetches GSC + GA4 metrics for the periods on either side of the change date, with the percentage delta already calculated.
Render the dashboard
Have your AI tool format it as a sortable table plus a short narrative. Export to a doc, or drop it into Slides or Sheets for the client.
