This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and disclose your information when you use our software platform, including when accessed directly or through AI integrations such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using Page Pulse, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
a. Account Information
- Name
- Email address
- Company name (optional)
- Password or authentication token
b. Page Pulse Account & Project Data
When you use Page Pulse (including via AI integrations such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools), we may collect and return:
- Website domains and URLs you manage
- Project names and tracked webpages
- User-defined tags and labels
- Internal identifiers (e.g., UUIDs, IDs) used to associate data
c. Webpage Content and Change Data
We may collect and return excerpts of content from webpages you choose to track, including:
- Page titles, meta descriptions, and body content
- Structured data and link data
- Historical “before” and “after” values showing detected changes
This data is collected from publicly accessible versions of your own websites and is used to provide change tracking functionality.
d. Connected Services (Google Integrations)
When you connect third-party services such as Google Search Console or Google Analytics 4, we may collect and return:
Google Search Console (GSC):
- Clicks, impressions, average position, CTR
- Search query strings associated with your pages
Google Analytics 4 (GA4):
- Users, page views, key events, bounce rate
- Average time on page
- Names of configured events (e.g., “purchase”, “signup”)
This data is aggregated and does not include information about individual users or visitors.
We comply with Google’s Limited Use Policy: we only access and use Google user data for the core functionality you request, do not use it for advertising or any unauthorized purposes, and only share it with service providers as necessary. The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
e. Page Pulse-Derived Data
We may generate and return derived insights such as:
- Page change importance scores
- Counts of changes by date or type
- Integration status indicators
- Aggregate project-level metrics (e.g., page counts, tag counts)
f. Time and Activity Metadata
- Change detection timestamps
- Crawl timestamps
- Date ranges used in reporting or filtering
g. Dashboard Links
We may return links that allow you to navigate directly to the Page Pulse web application from integrations such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools.
h. Automatically Collected Data
We may collect technical information such as:
- Browser type
- IP address
- Device identifiers
- Usage behavior within the app
When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including your email address. We (or service providers on our behalf) may use this information to send communications and marketing. You may opt out by visiting:

i. AI Interactions
When you use AI-powered features:
- Inputs (e.g., page content, queries) may be processed to generate outputs
- When used via AI integrations (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude), your requests and responses are processed through the respective provider’s infrastructure
- We do not use this data to train public AI models
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Services
- Deliver page monitoring, analytics, and change tracking
- Generate AI-powered insights and recommendations
- Display data within AI integrations such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar AI tools
- Personalize your dashboard and experience
- Communicate with you about your account or updates
- Ensure security, detect fraud, and troubleshoot issues
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data.
We may share information with:
a. Service Providers
Companies that help us host, maintain, analyze, and operate the platform
b. Integrated Platforms
- Google (Search Console and Analytics APIs)
- AI platform providers (e.g., OpenAI / ChatGPT, Anthropic / Claude) when you use Page Pulse through those integrations
c. Legal Obligations
When required by law or to protect our rights
4. Data Retention
We retain your data:
- For as long as your account is active
- As necessary to provide our Services
- As required for legal or operational purposes
Deleting a project will delete associated tracking, analytics, and change data.
5. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission and role-based access controls.
6. Your Rights and Controls
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access or export your data
- Correct or delete your data
- Object to or limit certain processing
You may also:
- Delete projects and associated data
- Disconnect third-party integrations (e.g., Google accounts)
- Close your account

7. What We Do NOT Collect
Page Pulse does not collect or return:
- AI chat conversation history beyond what you explicitly request
- Authentication credentials such as passwords, API keys, or OAuth tokens
- Payment card data
- Government identifiers or sensitive personal data
- Individual-level visitor data from your websites
- Device-level tracking of your website visitors
All analytics data is aggregated and non-identifying.
8. Third-Party Links
Our Services may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
9. Children’s Privacy
Page Pulse is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notification.
