Your change history, where the work happens

No dashboards to dig through. Pull up the page, open the panel, and the context is already there.

A timeline of every change

The Annotations tab lays out every detected edit by date — text, headings, links, meta, canonical, and more — each one diffed and timestamped so you can scan months of history in seconds.

Optional AI summaries — formatted your way

The annotation timeline works fully on its own. Add your own Claude (Anthropic) API key — entirely optional — and a one-click Summarize turns a raw diff into a plain-English rundown of what changed. In Settings you can edit the summarization prompt to control the format and focus, so annotations come out exactly how you want them.

An importance score on every change

Not every edit matters. Each change gets a 0–100 score so a brand-new H1 or a stack of internal links rises to the top, while a tweaked footer line stays out of your way.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Yes. The extension is included with every Page Pulse plan — including the free one. Track up to 50 pages on one website at no cost, and the panel works everywhere those pages live.
Yes — the extension is a window into your Page Pulse projects. Create a free account, add a project, and sign in to the extension to see your annotated history and analytics.
The extension is built for Chrome and Chromium-based browsers like Edge, Brave, and Arc. Support for other browsers is on the roadmap.
No. Change detection runs on Page Pulse's servers, not in your browser. The panel simply displays results that are already computed, so it stays fast and light.
Yes. The extension has read-only access, you authorize every connection during setup, and your Google Search Console and GA4 data stays on a secure server. You can revoke access or delete your data at any time.
No — it's optional. The annotation timeline, analytics overlay, and before/after comparisons all work without it. If you want one-click AI summaries of a change set, add your own Claude (Anthropic) API key in Settings. It's stored only in your browser and sent only to Anthropic — never to Page Pulse. You can also edit the summarization prompt in Settings to control the format and focus of every summary.
Summaries run on your own Claude API key, so you pay Anthropic directly — typically a fraction of a cent each (the example in our panel cost $0.0032). Every summary shows its exact token usage and price, plus a running daily total, so you're always in control.
